Everybody on the ‘friendly island’ is eager to give as much information as you might need. The island features 2 Tourist Offices, in Marigot St. Martin, and Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. You will find many interesting magazines free of charge, for example the FAQSinfo, providing general information on what is going on and where, the Nature magazine (Flora and Fauna), Nights (Nightlife) and many others on all subjects. Making some research will surely help you to make your right decision: Should it be the more relaxed and elegant French side, with its fine dining and gourmet restaurants, or the Dutch side, sizzling nightlife, trendy lounges, casinos, etc. On the island, travelers are free to travel back and forth between the 2 nations.
